To strengthen our team at the location in Leinfelden-Echterdingen (near Stuttgart) we are looking for a Trainee (m/f/d) within the sound team from September 2026 until June 2027.

YOUR NEW TASKS

Activities with focus on Audio & Acoustics:

  • Assist the development and research on novel audio technologies 
    as well as loudspeaker systems (e.g. for integrating of 3D audio)
  • Assist the setup and testing of prototypes in our laboratories as well
    as the validation team in the practical field
  • Design and optimization of innovative product sound design
  • Analyze the audio systems with measurements in our laboratories
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and international colleagues 
    of the audio industry within and outside of your projects

 

Activities with focus on  Audio DSP & Software:

  • Assist the development and implementation of audio algorithms on 
    DSPs and embedded systems
  • Assist the documentation and validation of algorithms and software architectures with unit tests, profiling and measurements
  • Evaluate and evolve the development of audio and measurement software
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and international colleagues 
    of the audio industry within and outside of your projects

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Currently enrolled as a bachelor or master student of acoustics & audio engineering
  • An organized working style coupled with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Eagerness to learn new things and take up new challenges
  • Intercultural & communication skills
  • A very good command of English
