To strengthen our Asset Tracking Solution Business Unit we are looking for a Field Application Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) with immediate effect. This position could be located in Unterschleißheim (near Munich), Düsseldorf or Leinfelden-Echterdingen (near Stuttgart).

YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Support sales team and product management team in executing business unit GTM strategy
  • Presentation of our product technical capabilities to potential customers including customer consultation and clarification of technical specifications and requirements
  • Close cooperation with customers during the onboarding process
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationship with customer during the project lifecycle
  • Support sales team in customer acquisition as well as development of long-term and intensive business relationships
  • Understanding of customer use cases and complementing in our solution configuration
  • Responsible for the expansion of our IoT ecosystem, product presentation and extension of our tariff business models within Europe
  • Project ownership from customer PoC phase till after-sales support
  • Close cooperation with the product management team in keeping and executing our business strategy

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, business engineering, business informatics or equivalent
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in product management, technical sales, project management or equivalent
  • Relevant professional experience in service oriented business environment (e.g. SaaS)
  • Ideally experience in customer technical support of a telecommunications company or a large system integrator in B2B context
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar is a plus
  • Familiarity with Industrial IoT ecosystem and business model are preferable
  • Ideally basic knowledge of agile development tools such as Jira and Confluence as well as experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Assertiveness, organizational strength and self-motivation
  • Analytical thinking as well as proactive, solution-oriented and self-reliant way of working
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and entrepreneurial approach
  • Very good command in German and English
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
